As the media interest grew and grew yesterday for the first semi-final round of the Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year competition, the NFFF and the competition itself made the front page of the Yorkshire Evening Post, and also in the Yorkshire Post.

One of the semi-finalists, Tom Hughes from Harbourside in Plymouth, was in the spotlight as he faced the cameras for a quick interview.
