RENOWNED IMPRESSIONIST TO HOST 25TH ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY   Comedian and impressionist Rory Bremner has been unveiled as the host of the 25th National Fish & Chip Awards, organised by Seafish, the authority on seafood.
Bremner is the latest star to host the competition, the biggest celebration of that iconic British Institution – fish and chips.
The well-loved comedian will host the grand final of the awards on the evening of 24 January 2013 at the prestigious Lancaster London hotel in London.
These awards are even more special as they mark 25 years of recognising the best talent in the fish and chip industry.
Paul Williams, CEO at competition organisers Seafish, said: "This is an extremely big year for us as it^s the 25th anniversary of the awards so we^re eagerly awaiting the final.  The standard of entries has been extremely high and we are seeing shops putting so much time and energy into perfecting their craft.

"We^re delighted to have Rory on board as our celebrity host." The awards recognise the quality, value and choice offered by fish and chip businesses across the UK and rewards those judged to be the cream of the crop.
Previous winners have seen their sales increase by as much as 100% within months of winning a national award.
