Get frying for the RNLI
Article Date: 2017-07-18
The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) are delighted to announce that they’re proud partners of the RNLI’s ‘Fish Supper’ campaign for the second year.
RNLI Fish Supper is an annual charity event to raise funds to support the RNLI’s life-saving work. Participants sign up to host their own Fish Supper for friends and family and ask for donations towards the meal. This year the campaign is over the weekend of 13 – 15 October, and the NFFF is inviting its members to get involved.
Not everyone is able to host their own ‘Fish Supper’ event at home and others may want to save on the washing up and dine out! This is where your frying skills come in. The event is a fun way to encourage customers into your shop bringing friends and family together to enjoy a great meal provided by you, inspired by the sea - and while raising money for a great cause.
The NFFF has made it simple for you to be part of the event with two easy options:
A) Become a Fish Supper ambassador and support the campaign by choosing to donate 10% per portion of fish and chips sold between the 13 - 15 October. In return we will help promote your outlet as a place to go in support of the RNLI Fish Supper.
B) Help promote the campaign with branded decorations and have an RNLI donation box by the till to encourage customers to pop any change or donations in.
We’ll make sure you have everything you need and we’ll send you a fundraising pack when you sign up that that has bunting, posters and collection boxes, bringing Fish Supper to your shop. Simply click here to sign up and get involved!
The funds raised will help to support the RNLI’s volunteer crew, who are ready to drop everything — even their supper — at a moment’s notice. It will support all aspects of the RNLI’s life-saving work and could help them buy kit for crew members or fuel for one of their lifeboats. Every penny you raise means that you’re helping to save lives at sea, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Sign up today to get involved and make a real difference.
