We’re launching a competition to find the fish and chip shop who best engages with the D-Day 80 commemorations on June 6th .
This initiative is a great way to market your fish and chip shop and connect with your local community. Fish and chips played a vital role during the war, being one of few comfort dishes left unrationed. This was made possible by brave fisherman and farmers who continued to work despite the risks.
For this reason, the National Fish and Chip Awards have partnered with Bruno Peek CVO OBE OPR, organiser of the D-Day 80 anniversary commemorations. By taking part, you will be in with a chance of winning two free tickets and transport to the National Fish and Chip Awards 2025.
