Over the years, many of you have told us that the awards entry process, while worthwhile, could feel too time-consuming and demanding.

We’ve heard you, and we’ve taken action.

This year, we’ve simplified the entire entry process.

• Fewer Questions: We’ve cut down the number of questions you need to answer as well as the word count expected. No more writing essays. We’re only asking the questions that truly matter.
• Quicker to Complete: The initial entry to the awards should now take a fraction of the time it used to. That means you can get back to focusing on what you do best, serving great fish and chips.
• More Mystery Shopping: New for this year, we’re introducing additional mystery shopping in the earlier stages of the competition. This ensures our entrants can be assessed on the real customer experience, without disturbing their usual course of business.
• Just as Prestigious: Rest assured, the awards judging will remain as rigorous and meaningful as ever. Our judges will still work hard to recognise and celebrate the very best in the latter stages of the competition. These changes will only make the initial entry process easier and less of a time commitment for your business.
