UK’s Top 3 Fish and Chip Shops For Marketing Innovation Announced

Three of the UK’s leading fish and chip businesses for marketing innovation have been revealed today (Thursday 16 November) as part of the 30th anniversary National Fish & Chip Awards, organised by Seafish.Download the full press release (PDF) Download the full shortlist (PDF)
Shortlisted as finalists for the Marketing Innovation Award - one of 15 categories in the 2018 National Fish & Chip Awards – the three shops (in alphabetical order) that will now compete for the top title in this award category are:Krispies Fish & Chips in Exmouth, Devon Millers Fish & Chips in Haxby, North Yorkshire The Dolphin Takeaway in Dungannon, County Tyrone
To reach this stage of the competition, finalists have been assessed against a wide variety of judging criteria, including audience segmentation, marketing budget allocation, promotional activity planning and implementation, management of marketing plans, measurement of success and the resultant impact for the business over the past year.
Over the coming weeks, judges will make further in-depth visits to review marketing innovation practices, whilst also appraising the level of customer service and quality of the fish and chips on offer. This final stage of competition judging will determine the overall national winner who will be announced at the 30th anniversary awards ceremony.

The winner of the Marketing Innovation Award will be announced at The National Fish & Chip Awards’ 30th anniversary ceremony in London on 25 January 2018.
