Following judging by an extensive team of industry representative judges, the businesses detailed in the table below have all been judged to be a Top 5 shop in their respective geographical region of the Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop Of The Year Award category as part of the 2013 National Fish & Chip Awards, and will now progress to the next round of judging.

This next stage will involve competition judges making unannounced visits to respective shops to undertake a full in-shop judging audit, at anytime up until 21 September 2012, and will determine the Top 10 shops in the UK (one in each of the ten regions) who will go on to the national final in London, held at the prestigous Lancaster London hotel on 24 January 2013.
