Fish Friers

There’s still time to get involved in the RNLI Fish Supper!

Article Date: 2016-10-06

The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) are proud partners of the RNLI’s Fish Supper campaign which takes place on the 14th-16thOctober, and we want to let you know how you can get involved!

RNLI Fish Supper, supported by Lakeland, is an annual charity event to raise funds to support the RNLI’s life-saving work. Not everyone is able to host their own ‘Fish Supper’ event or to fry the nation’s favourite seafood dish — which of course is fish and chips – and those people will rely on our members to fry their food. The event is a fun way to bring customers into your shop and to encourage people to get together, inviting friends and family to enjoy a great meal inspired by the sea.

The NFFF has made it simple to take part, simply click here for more information and to sign up to become a Fish Supper Ambassador. You’ll receive everything you need to get started in a Fish Supper fundraising pack. That includes bunting for a splash of colour in your window, table talkers to help start the conversation, and RNLI donation boxes to keep the all-important funds rolling in. There is even a hashtag, #RNLIFishSupper for you to use on social to let everyone know you’re involved and to visit your chippie!

The funds raised will help to support the RNLI’s volunteer crew, who are ready to drop everything — even their supper — at a moment’s notice. It will support all aspects of the RNLI’s life-saving work and could help them buy kit for crew members or fuel for one of their lifeboats. Every penny you raise means that you’re helping to save lives at sea, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Let’s make this year’s Fish Supper one to remember.

Sign up today to get involved and make a real difference.
