The finalists will visit the city of Woerden to learn how the Dutch fry their fish and get an in-depth look into how Florigo manufacture some of the industry’s best fish frying equipment.

They will have a chance to tour the Florigo factory, meeting the Dutch team and witnessing all the equipment in action. To finish off the trip, finalists will be treated to a canal tour in Amsterdam.

Paul Williams, Chief Executive of Seafish, said: "We are so pleased that after undergoing a tough judging process, the young finalists in this particular award category will be able to enjoy this fantastic study trip.

"The trip will offer study group members a great opportunity to gain an insight into how Florigo’s equipment is manufactured and subsequently used to cook fish and chips the Dutch way.”

The National Fish & Chip Awards recognises the best talent, quality and choice offered by fish and chip businesses across the UK.
