Royal Fisheries, the award-winning fish and chip restaurant and takeaway on Baxtergate, Whitby, has launched a digital ‘click and collect’ service for customers via a new app.

Owner of Royal Fisheries, Fusco’s of Whitby, the family business behind four of Yorkshire’s top fish and chips restaurants and takeaways, developed and launched the bespoke app to allow customers to click and collect their order at their chosen time and offer a quicker service during busier days.

The app enables customers to pre-order a range of meals from the Royal Fisheries takeaway menu including fish, chips, meal deal boxes and locally made pies, and choose a pick-up time to suit them.

Owner of Fusco’s of Whitby, Carol Fusco, comments: “As a family business we know how busy it can be juggling everyday life. Work days are getting longer and the kids often have after-school activities which shortens the evenings even more, so we invested in a new app to reduce waiting times at the shop and give our customers the chance to save some precious time and beat the queues. The app is really easy to use and, as customers can pay by card and choose a collection time to suit, there’s no waiting around when they call in to pick up their order too.”

Suitable for use on most smart devices, the new Royal Fisheries ‘click & collect’ app is available to download through the App Store or Google Play by searching Royal Fisheries Ordering.
