Potato Weekly - 24 January 2020

- Lifting has continued in some regions this week, with supplies heading straight to market wherever possible. There is an increasing offer of lower quality supplies from store, though buyers can be harder to find. Growers are increasingly holding onto best quality supplies until later in the season, tightening availability in some markets.
- Trade remains mostly stand on from the previous week. Bag trade remains limited, mostly consisting of repeat orders. Packers and processors are working off majority contracted supplies, with the odd top-up load on the side.
