Norwegian Seafood Council launches new website

Article Date: 2013-06-28

The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) has unveiled its new UK website providing fish lovers and industry colleagues with a country-specific portal to all its latest news, tasty recipes and general  information relevant to the UK market.

The development of the website follows the appointment of Jack-Robert Møller, a dedicated NSC UK representative, who will be based in London and demonstrates the NSC’s ongoing commitment to broadening communication platforms within the UK market.

The website (www.seafoodfromnorway.co.uk) will provide UK stakeholders with a species guide, information on what makes Norway such a successful and sustainable fishing nation and important details for exporters and importers. A collection of delicious, easy-to-prepare recipes featuring the NSC’s four principle exports of cod, haddock, salmon and prawns also feature on the portal to inspire consumers to eat more fish. Users will also find useful information about the organisation and its industry, recent news and contact details.

Johan Kvalheim, current UK Director of the NSC, commented: ‘The new website is another step forwards on our journey to bring sustainably sourced seafood from Norway to the UK market. We are proud to offer UK fish lovers and industry colleagues a portal that caters to all their needs, and we hope that they find it useful and informative.’
