Coming up on Monday 15th September is the annual Isle of Ely Produce open day. The day will kick off at 10.30am with a cup of tea and a welcome from Austen Dack, John and Oliver Boutwood. NFFF President Gregg Howard will then give everybody a friendly welcome.


You will then be given the chance to visit to a major local farmer where you will be given a great insight into the journey a potato takes on its way from ^Field to Frier^.


Other ‘on the day’ speakers include current champion of the ‘Field to Frier Award’ Stuart Fusco, previous winner Calum Richardson, Stu Francis from the Potato Council plus John Gold from award winning shop Frankies on Shetland.


In the evening there will be meet at the Royal Standard, Ely, and chance to have a few drinks and something to eat before the evening ends with either an overnight stay (booking recommended) or the drive home.
