INNOVATION IS ‘FRYING’ HIGH FOR UK’S TOP 3 FISH AND CHIP SHOPS!

The UK’s top three innovative fish and chip shops were announced today (20 November) as they compete to become the winner of the Marketing Innovation Award as part of the 2015 National Fish & Chip Awards, organised by Seafish.

 

Frankie’s Fish & Chips in Brae, Shetland; Hennighan’s Top Shop in Machynlleth, Powys and Poppies Fish & Chips in Spitalfields, London will now compete against one another during a further round of judging to determine who will lift the overall title. The three finalists will also now be invited to the grand awards ceremony, at The Lancaster London Hotel on 20 January 2015, at which the overall winner of the Marketing Innovation Award will be announced.

 

The Marketing Innovation Award recognises fish and chip businesses that demonstrate excellence in their creative marketing strategy and use of effective promotional techniques. Open to fish and chip establishments across the UK, this category highlights how outlets use innovative thinking to develop their communication strategies.

 

Mike Wallace, part of The Q Partnership Marketing Team, said: "By sponsoring this award we want to encourage all fish and chip takeaways and restaurants to get involved and to understand the benefits that marketing can have for their business and the collective spin off for the industry as a whole.
