Birds Eye Coup at Harry’s
To celebrate National Chip Week (17-23 February 2014), Harry Ramsden’s, which proudly supports UK farmers by using only home-grown potatoes to make their mouth-watering chips, has joined forces with Birds Eye for a very special consumer promotion.
During Chip Week at participating Harry Ramsden’s outlets, and whilst stocks last, customers will be given a voucher which entitles them to 75p off Birds Eye Harry Ramsden’s Cod and Haddock fillet 4 packs. The promotion launches nationwide on Monday 17 February and vouchers will be available for redemption until 31 March 2014, in retail outlets selling Birds Eye Harry Ramsden’s Cod or Haddock products.
Harry Ramsden’s is one of the only a handful of restaurant chains in the UK which proudly serve chips made exclusively from fresh potatoes, grown and picked in Britain. Indeed, during Chip Week, in-season RAMOS potatoes, provided by fourth generation farmer, Andy Mitchell of Lawfordheath Farm near Rugby, will be used to make the chips served across the Harry Ramsden’s chain.
Joe Teixeira, CEO of Harry Ramsden’s notes:
“The promotion with Birds Eye couldn’t be better, as it celebrates both fish and chips, the combination which has made Harry Ramsden’s world famous. The team at Harry Ramsden’s is proud to be long standing supporters of British potato farmers, so we are delighted to be celebrating Chip Week with our customers, whereby they can enjoy their favourite meal in their local outlet and receive a money off voucher which will allow them to take home a taste of Harry’s.”
Kirsty Howden-Smith of Birds Eye adds:
‘We are delighted to have such a close partnership with the team at Harry Ramsden’s and hope this consumer promotion is the first of many. We are proud of our award-winning product which allows people to eat the famous Harry Ramsden’s fish at home.’
While stocks last, the Birds Eye Money off coupons will be available from all participating Harry Ramsden’s outlets…..for full details, log onto www.harryramsdens.co.uk
