Newcastle United^s forward Ayoze Perez, opens up to adapting to life in England, having recently moved from his sunny homeland of Tenerife.

Perez may be young and new to English life, but he had a few tasks in mind before he could say he had settled in to the English way of life and one was to try for the first time the great British delicacy of ^fish and chip^!

In an interview with the Daily Mirror the Spanish star said "Being in Newcastle is a very different way of life to Tenerife. For a start the climate if very different but the city itself is beautiful and I really love being here.

"I’m trying to explore the area and learn more about Newcastle as a city by going to different events.

"I have been to the rugby to watch the Falcons and want to experience the different culture and traditions as much as possible. I’ve even tried fish and chips!”
