The last two weeks has seen a recent surge of over 4,000 visits to the Friars Pride Gluten Free Fish and Chip online map, due to online Celiac support groups, social media and increased awareness of the disease.

The map enables end consumers to search for their nearest chippy that serves Gluten Free fish and chips and also offers the option for them to enter details of any fish and chip shops that are not currently on the map. Each listing on the map also displays the days that each fish and chip shop/restaurant serves Gluten Free fish and chips.

The map was first published in late 2014 and has grown significantly, with information inputted from both the end consumer and shops/restaurants serving Gluten Free fish and chips, however the vast majority of website traffic are end consumers.
