A host of diners at the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley enjoyed fish and chips to the sound of Frank Sinatra with a special tribute night at the popular establishment.
Guests were transported back to the era of the Rat Pack with Ol’ Blue Eyes, aka the well-known Phil Fryer, performing much-loved classics, including ‘Strangers in the Night’ and ‘My Way,’ while diners tucked into the Wetherby Whaler’s renowned fish and chips.
The Wetherby Whaler is a leading player in the popular fish and chip restaurant and take-away market in Yorkshire. In addition to Guiseley, it has restaurants and takeaways in York, Pudsey, Wakefield and Wetherby.
Wetherby Whaler’s Caroline Murphy said: "It’s great to hold events such as this that get the local community together and everyone who attended had a great time.
"Phil Fryer (no pun intended!) is a fantastic performer and we always enjoy having him at the Wetherby Whaler restaurants. Watch this space for the next event.”
