David Hutchinson

Funeral – Thursday 6th February, 3.00pm, Truro

In late January the NFFF learned of the sad news that David Hutchinson had passed away.

David began his fish frying career in Truro and his shop was a National winner of the Daloon Fish & Chip Shop of the Year competition. 

In 2005, David sold his business and was appointed an industry assessor, initially as a Quality Award assessor for Seafish until 2010, and then for the NFFF as an NFFF Fish and Chip Quality Award assessor. David assessed many fish and chip shops in the South West and was a highly respected figure in the fish frying industry, passing on his wealth of knowledge to many people. 

David’s funeral will be held at 3.00pm at Penmount Crematorium, Newquay Road, Truro, Cornwall, TR4 9AA on Thursday 6th February.
