In accordance with Government guidance, from 6 January, people can only leave home for work purposes where it is unreasonable for them to do their job from home.

Should an employee be stopped and questioned when travelling to and from their place of work, they may need to provide proof of reason for travel.

Likewise, you may have members of staff with school age children who need to provide proof to school that they must attend their place of work.

It is at your discretion whether you provide them with proof, and we have created the following template for this use should you wish to issue to members of your staff.  Please complete where indicated and you can of course amend the content to suit your needs.
