Become involved with the RNLI’s ‘Fish Supper’ 14th-16th October

Article Date: 2016-10-03

The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) are delighted to announce that they’re proud partners of the RNLI’s ‘Fish Supper’ campaign which takes place on the 14th-16th October.

RNLI Fish Supper, supported by Lakeland, is an annual charity event to raise funds to support the RNLI’s life-saving work. The NFFF encourages its members to get involved with the campaign which asks households across the UK to unite over a plate of fish and chips and to raise money in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Not everyone is able to host their own ‘Fish Supper’ event or to fry the nation’s favourite seafood dish — which of course is fish and chips – and those people will rely on our members to fry their food. The event is a fun way to bring customers into your shop and to encourage people to get together, inviting friends and family to enjoy a great meal inspired by the sea.

The NFFF has made it simple to take part, simply click here for more information and to sign up to host a fish-themed supper. We’ll make sure you have everything you need and we’ll send you a fundraising pack when you sign up that that has bunting, posters and collection boxes, bringing Fish Supper to your shop.

The funds raised will help to support the RNLI’s volunteer crew, who are ready to drop everything — even their supper — at a moment’s notice. It will support all aspects of the RNLI’s life-saving work and could help them buy kit for crew members or fuel for one of their lifeboats. Every penny you raise means that you’re helping to save lives at sea, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Sign up today to get involved and make a real difference.
