Award winning guest frier announced for complete guide to fish and chip shop management course in June

The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) are delighted to announce that Simon Walsh of the award winning Longsands Fish Kitchen will be guest frier in the June on the three day training course: NFFF Complete Guide to Fish and Chip Shop Management.
Following a history of working in fine dining including at the Close House Golf Resort and Barrasford Arms to name a few, Simon opened Longsands Fish Kitchen in 2015.
Longsands Fish Kitchen is both a takeaway and restaurant with over 40 covers and offers classic fish and chips, Shetland mussels, grilled lobster, shucked oysters, monkfish & prawn curry and roast turbot. The menu changes daily and is designed around what has been caught that day by the local fisherman.
Longsands has won numerous awards including Best Newcomer at the 2017 National Fish and Chip Award and most recently the FRY Magazine Top 10 Restaurant award. The restaurant is also MSC certified together with holding the NFFF Quality Award.
