2014 National Fish and Chip Awards - the results

What a great day for the fish and chip industry.

At the superb London Lancaster hotel near Hyde Park, the 2014 National Fish and Chip Awards, organised by Seafish, was an all-round success enjoyed by nearly 600 guests.

The NFFF congratulates all participants, finalists and winners. The winners, in no particular order, are as follows:   


Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop of the Year Award

1st place: Quayside, Whitby

2nd place: Frankie’s Fish and Chips, Brae

3rd place: Papa’s Barn, Ditton


Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year Award

1st place: Leigh Foster, Pantrini’s, Whitley Bay

2nd place: Tom Hughes, Harbourside Fish & Chips, Plymouth
